I've officially moved out of government housing. That's something.

Don't mistake me, Shepard. Distancing ourselves from a government we don't understand is a good goal.

It would be foolish, though, to think it would mean we owe them nothing. We awoke in their care. If they wanted us dead, we would be. We owe them that. The debt of continued survival only goes so far, of course. You stand testament to that.

Well, bringing me back from the dead only went so far for Cerberus. That's a pretty high standard to live up to.

[ A pause. Speaking of continued survival, he hasn't had a chance to ask about this since they arrived, but... ]

The native doctors seem to be having difficulty with Drell physiology. That being said, I'm receiving treatment at a facility run by a fellow imPort.

I know him. Seems like someone who's pretty good with technology. Didn't realize he was interested in medicine, too.
